Really? Just $499 for a super sleek aluminum fixie? If you were expecting an entry level fixed gear at this price, we’d forgive you.

Start with the frame—6061 aluminum so it’s light and super responsive. The fork is an upgraded Kinesis edition. Hubs and cranks turn silent and smooth thanks to sealed cartridge bearings. The rims are double-walled and finished with a brushed braking surface. Naturally, the rear wheel is fitted with a flip/flop.

The Eastside Fix is normally available in three sizes-- 52, 55 and 58cm--and measured center-to-top for plenty of standover clearance. (Sorry, the 52 is already sold out.) It comes standard with front and rear brakes, a chainguard and pedals.

One other thing you should know: there’s just a single decal on the non-drive chainstay. The Eastside Fix is the essence of a fixed gear, simple and pure.
